Just realized how hard things would be if I had diabetes. Glad I don't have diabetes then. Well, not that I know of. But apparently a lot of people don't know it but they actually have diabetes, and that people should get checked just in case.
So sad. :(

yay for modern medicine though, even though it is hard on the kids.
ReplyDeleteTrue, having medicine is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI guess I had this dream because I read this article about diabetes in a health magazine earlier that day. It had a little test on it with the symptoms, and I math 9/10 of the symptoms so apparently I have diabetes. Haha let's hope they're wrong! It said that the main symptoms were losing weight/not gaining weight/suddenly gaining lots of weight, craving sodas, fruits, and sweet things more than 3 times a day, losing appetite to real food, problems controlling bladder, grumpy when hungry, dry mouth through out the day, blurry vision, and easily tired. The only one I didn't fit was blurred vision. (I have contacts) But I think it's just stress or something. Who knows?
ReplyDeleteYes. Having diabetes would be scary. My mom says you can lose, arms, legs, and go blind. Oh, that sounds terrifying.
ReplyDeleteYea I have almost all the symptoms for diabetes but so far nothing has happened in the doctors or anything, so I don't know what that really means.
DeleteKienna, you are too young to have diabetes!!!! (in my personal opinion) It is very much in my family, and has been for generations...BUT SUGAR IS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha sugar is way yummy! Pretty sure I don't have diabetes, since I would have probably gotten it checked out with a doctor by now. I guess I just don't gain weight and have to go to the bathroom very often 'cause I have a fast metabolism or something. I probably just get grumpy when I am hungry because it is part of my personality or something haha.
