My resolutions for the new year:
Be a better person to others
Less "talking back" to my mother
Improve my skills in school
Don't worry about others who think I am not cool.
Eat healthier, and less junk food.
Try to always be in a better mood.
Improve my hand writing as it's not the best.
And calming myself down easier whenever I am stressed.
I wish to be more honest, and open to more of my peers.
So that is just a short list of my resolutions; HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Christmas... over?

(hehe I stole this pics from my mom's blog!)
Ahhh.. Christmas. The time to celebrate the birth of our savior. The time to be with our families and friends. To go Christmas shopping. Bake lots of food. Get caught in traffic. To go last minute gift shopping. Going on a tight budget... Being stressed out.... I love how before Christmas everybody is in a hurry to get things done and every body is all stressed out. But once Christmas comes, you can sit back and chill with your fam.
I hope that no matter how many gifts anybody got for Christmas, that they remember the true meaning of Christmas.
My parents this year put together an amazing Christmas for us kids.
With my mom we played games, had great food, watched movies, had awesome snacks, sat by the fire, went to church together, opened up gifts, and over all bonded.
With my dad, we also watched some movies and had a great feast. Since my dad was born on Christmas, we played birthday games. We had a pinata, "Un-Wrap-it," and we wanted to sing karaoke, so we hooked up the mic, got YouTube up on our tv screen, and did karaoke from YouTube.
My friend posted on her what she got for Christmas, so that's what I'm about to do! (Thank's for the idea, "Is"!!!)
I got...
- fuzzy orange and blue socks
- clothes
- jewelry
- book (thanks!)
- candy
- make up
- make up bags
- Jamaican monkey hat
- boots
- converse shoes
- walmart gift card from anonymous
- REALLY fuzzy and cute fleece blanket from the same anonymous
- nail polish
- pj's
- little glass pineapple from hawaii
- locker pencil holder (filled with a mini comp book, pen, and candy)
- paper full of compliments (thanks Si!)
- Old Navy Bag (really handy!)
- Christmas ornament (nice choice, mom!)
- Ipod speakers
- awesome homemade "k" necklace (thanks Is!)
- Mirror (to do my make up with!!!)
------------------------
I think that is all... The reason I put the "K" necklace separate from the jewelry is because I was putting the things from my friends separate from family, just so it is easier! I think that is all I got, so sorry if I forgot anything.
So whether you got more and less than I did for Christmas, I hope your Christmas was great! (oh and sorry mom that I wasn't able to get you a lot for Christmas. I tried really hard. I wanted to get you nice gloves and gift cards and everything, but I really didn't have much money. I also had to get 12 other people stuff, so ya. Sorry)
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYBODY! :)
(oh and I will post some pictures of me if I can get some from my mom!)

A Random Story Made Up In 2 Minutes...
Okay guys, so I am going to time myself and right a random story here. I will write anything that comes to mind. So ready..... and.... BEGIN!
The sat at a picnic bench, when a little girl came over to the table. "SEE mommy? I TOLD you that I didn't forget the cheese and crackers!!!" and the little girl reached over and ate the cheese and cracker. The cheese screamed as he entered the girl's mouth. The cracker was in so much shock that he-
OKAY guys, 2 minutes are up!!! That's my 2 minute story!!
There once was a cracker, and his name is jack. He had a friend who was cheese. They had been best friends ever since they were stored in the pantry and fridge, which was just last week. Despite the short amount of time they've known each other, they felt like they had known each other forever. They did almost everything together. But, one day, a unicorn came along and told them to go and follow the rainbow. However, crackers cannot walk, and cheese most definitely cannot walk either. So the unicorn warned them that if they did not find a way to follow the rainbow, that they'd be eaten together. One day the people that lived there were going on a picnic. The perfect time for them to sneak out and follow the rainbow! So, they called the dog up to the kitchen, and asked the dog for a ride to the rainbow. The dog said sure, and jumped up on his back. They rode along, the dog's tongue out to the side, paws pattering on the side walk. Finally they arrived to the end of the rainbow. "Now we are safe!" they both thought. They thanked the dog and the dog ran safely home.

Tag: My Perfect Imperfections
It's another game of tag! But this one is different. Basically, you comment/blog 3 things you do not like about yourself or things that aren't very perfect about you. Then let us know 3 things you like/love about yourself. Then tell us 3 unique things about yourself! Here's mine below:
So here are some of the things I do not like about myself:
hmm...
1.) I don't like my teeth. They are crooked and I have only lost half of my baby teeth!
2.) My hair. I have a big cowlick, and my hair is SUPER thin!
3.) My dry skin. :P My skin is so dry, and during the summer I sometimes have dandruff because it gets so dry. I have to keep lotion in my locker and I have 4 things of chapstick in my desk. I have to use specific shampoos for my scalp!
Okay, so now... here are 3 things I like/love about myself:
Let's see...
1.)I like my big brown eyes! My eyelashes are naturally curly. Sometimes in the morning my eye lashes are so curly they touch my eyelid and it tickles!!
2.)My skin color. It's what I like to call, "caramel brown"
3.)My bangs. My bangs, like, sweep across and down my face (if that makes sense!
Alrighty... now, 3 unique things about myself! Here we go:
1.)I have had this bump by my ear ever since I was born. I think it's called an ear tag or something. It's not as noticable now that I'm older, but I have always secretly liked it! ;)
2.) In school I am known as the cotton candy girl because I once craved cotton candy during class and once in the 4th grade I offered a ton a tickets in an "auction" for a bag of cotton candy!
3.) I love to draw mushrooms, yet I don't like the taste of them. (I will make a separate blog post with pictures of my mushroom drawings!)
----------------------
TAG you're it! PRETTY PRETTY please go to your blog and post YOUR perfect imperfections! Just type 3 things you don't like about yourself, 3 things you like about yourself, and 3 unique things about you!

Our Holiday Dance!!!!

Today we had our 6th grade Holiday Dance. The gym was really pretty, because they put Christmas lights in and everything.. Too bad the lights were only for the dance! The dances we did (in order) were:
*Two Step slow dance
*Waltz
*Electric Slide
*Fox Trot
*Boot Scoot-n-Boogie (some kind of dance that goes with country music.. ugh)
*Two Step slow dance (again)
*Waltz
*Fox Trot (again)
*The Hustle
*Two Step slow dance (once again)
*Free choice slow dance (any kind of slow dance you want to do)
---------------
Since the dance was Christmas Themed, we did all of the dances to Christmas Music. We had to do the electric slide to "All I Want for Christmas is You" and it was awkward because everybody was off beat and were bumping into eachother. It was really hard dancing to that song!
-----------
The day before the dance we all got a piece of paper and went around the room asking people to be our dance partners for the next day. My partners were Nick, James, Jeff, Kade, Alec, Conner, Jake, and some kid named Dallin in the other class that I don't know. At our last dance, I also had Nick, James, Alec and Jake. (well, I had Alec written down as a partner at our last dance but my friend Is REALLY wanted to dance with him, so I let her. Instead I danced with conner.... UGH)
Oh, and we also had twinkies... YUM
So the only boys I didn't really enjoy dancing with were Nick, Conner, and Dallin. Nick is SO tall so it was a bit hard to dance with him, Conner kept ramming into people during the dance, and dancing with the boy named Dallin was REALLY awkward because we didn't talk the whole time we danced, since we didn't know each other... It's was pretty awkward!!!
The dance was pretty good all in all. It was way better than the other dance. My dance partners actually talked to me though. But my one dance partner Jake is really shy. But when he started talking, he said, "My sister had a dream last night that bananas hit her in the face and exploded..." it was really random and I didn't know what to say, but then he quickly changed the subject to twinkies. It was odd.
So there's our dance experience. This dance I was actually looking forward to, and it was fun! But we have one on Valentine's day! AHHH, WHY on Valentines day. I mean, DANCING.. with BOYS... on VALENTINES day??? WORST IDEA EVER!!! Wish me luck for that one... I am going to need it!!!!

Santa is Revealed!!!
Kids believe santa is real... The older they get, they think it's their parents. Well, I'm really tired of kids thinking this stuff.... So, I've decided to share my little secret... I'M Santa Claus!!!
Woops, wrong picture!!! Let's see here.... um... oh, there it is!!!
Shhh..... don't tell anybody! If you do, I'll put you on my naughty list!

Update on life
Hi fellow bloggers. I haven't blogged in quite awhile. This past week has been very busy with my school work, but I am glad that it is the weekend now so I can take a break from all of the stress!
Speaking of school, there's been a lot going on. Since we had a wind storm, school was cancelled one day, so now they added a school day on to our winter break!!! UGH.. But my teacher said that since most people will be out of town or just won't show up, she won't be having any lessons or assignments. We will just read and play math games, so I might decide to not even show up to school (if my mom lets me... -puppy dog eyes-)
Then next friday is our 6th grade Christmas dance. It's actually a little fun, but I am afraid this one boy will ask to be one of my dance partners... the reason I don't want to is because..
*He is way taller than me so it's hard to dance with him
*since he is taller than me, he also takes giant steps and it's hard to keep up
*He isn't the best at doing the dances. He always steps on my foot and does the wrong moves.
*doesn't keep up with the music or the beat
*it's just really awkward because he talks about weird things like flying dogs and what-not
We usually are supposed to have 4 dance partners because there are 4 different dance routines we do that involve partners. I can think of 3 boys that I wouldn't mind dancing with. They are the quiet and polite boys that actually understand how to do the dance routine.
I also think we are going to have a Christmas party with our class. We will play a bunch of games and make christmas crafts. We will also do a gift exchange, which I am really excited about!!!! :)
I also have had a ton of homework to catch up on recently, and it's been really difficult. But with prayers, hope, people helping me, and the internet, I'VE SURVIVED THIS PAST WEEK!!! :)
Oh, and at my school, we have this tradition where all of the classes and teachers gather in the lunch room/gym/multipurpose room and we sing a bunch of christmas songs together. Than usually a guy dressed up in santa clause costume (i am guessing it's the principal's husband) comes in when we sing really loud. As the older kids leave, the k-2 graders stay and get candy canes from "Santa Claus" and they get to sit on his lap. :) We also have an ornament contest and all the ornaments go on our school Christmas tree.
-------------------------------------
So as you can see, school can be pretty fun around christmas time! (and on the last day of school!)
How was YOUR week ????

Giant Wind Storm *Pictures of damage!!!
Here we had a giant windstorm! It got up to even 130MPH!!! HOLY MOLEY GUACAMOLE!
Power went out at our house, and school was cancelled. Damage was horrible! Semi-trucks fell over, stoplights were useless because of no power, fences broke/dogs escaped, shingles fell off, trees were ripped out from the root, billboards were ruined, and even McDonald's yellow "M" sign fell apart! YIKES! It was freezing cold without power, so we had to sleep with a ton of blankets and hand warmers. No lights, so we had to use candles. No computer/tv, so we sang songs, listened to the radio, played board games, and over all bonded. No oven, stoves, or microwaves because of no power, so we had to use this mini portable camping stove. Luckily the power wasn't out for long enough to make all of the food in the fridge/freezer go bad. Some people were hurt and a couple of people died due to car accidents. AHH! Luckily my family is safe and sound, and our giant giant giant tree didn't fall on our house. And luckily our doors weren't blown open for our precious kitties to escape.
I am very thankful that the LDS Prophets have told us about food storages to be prepared for this stuff! We had to light up a bunch of candles and got about 5 flashlights (plus my uncle's airsoft night vision) It was scary yet fun at the same time. Below is a news report on the wind, and below that is some pictures of damage at our house/other places nearby. Now power is back up! :) (it also hit california and colorado and a bit of Nevada, and might hit Alabama, Illinois and Indiana!!!!! Darn!) FunnyMan, my 17 Yr old brother, went with 2 of his friends and just took a bunch of pictures of damage. I'll see if he can email me some pictures of the damage they got so I can post them up. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!
Semi-truck fell over!!
Can you tell what this is??? :
Take a closer look..... It's another semi trucks that fell over!
On the side of our house you can see all of the shingles and leaves!
Our front yard; Shingles, branches, and apples:
